Tri-Agency Refresher / 2026 Update (Aug 27, 2026)

Tri-Agency grants represent more than a quarter of all research funds provided to UBC researchers by dollar value, and one in three grant worktags set up on Workday are for Tri-Agency grants; if you are a PI, Tri-Agency is likely funding at least one project in your current research portfolio.

In addition to institutional policy, these grants follow the Tri-Agency Guide on Financial Administration (TAGFA).
