US Federal Grants

US Federal Government funded grants are subject to a uniform base set of requirements, also known as Uniform Guidance.

These requirements are applicable regardless of whether UBC is a primary recipient (ie. funded directly by the US Government Agency) or a sub-recipient (ie. funds coming from a pass-through entity such as another University, but ultimately originating from a US Government Agency).

  • US Department of Health and Human Services funded grants (such as NIH and FDA grants) are subject to 45 CFR 75.
  • All other grants are subject to 2 CFR 200.

Please refer to the "Terms and Conditions" section of the award documents for your grant for details of any constraints on the grant funding.
